For a future-oriented company in the education sector, we developed an innovative digital platform that revolutionizes the matching between apprenticeship seekers and job offers. Unlike conventional job boards, this solution relies on a psychologically founded approach in which the individual characteristics, skills and inclinations of the applicants are at the center. The platform offers apprenticeship seekers the opportunity to create a personal profile by answering psychologically validated questions. An intelligent algorithm compares these profiles with the requirements and characteristics of various apprenticeship professions and positions to identify truly suitable matches. This takes into account not only the professional prerequisites but also factors such as company culture, work environment and personal development opportunities. In addition, the platform offers comprehensive information on various apprenticeship professions, requirement profiles and career paths. Challenge

The central challenge was to develop a psychologically founded questionnaire and translate it into a precise matching algorithm. It was necessary to understand the complex factors of career choice and transfer them into a digital system that is intuitively operable for both young apprenticeship seekers and companies. At the same time, an extensive knowledge database on apprenticeship professions had to be built and continuously updated.

Solution

In close collaboration with experts in psychology and career guidance, we developed a structured questionnaire that captures the relevant personality traits and skills. This was translated into an appealing, easy-to-understand digital form using Vue.js and Nuxt.js. The choice of these JavaScript frameworks enabled optimal performance and user experience. For the matching algorithm, we used modern data analysis methods based on a Node.js backend architecture that continuously learns from successful matches. The knowledge database was equipped with a user-friendly content management system and stored in MongoDB, which ensures flexible queries and fast access times.
